Our story
It started with a single boat in 2003.
Sport Fish Panama Island Lodge began in 2003 with a single boat, a single guesthouse, and Captain Shane Jarvis' plan to come to Panama and "fish for a year." We've since hosted thousands of anglers from around the world and been featured in Marlin Magazine, Saltwater Sportsman, Anglers Journal and Sportfishing TV.
These days we run a fleet of five boats, and our handcrafted guesthouses accommodate up to 24 anglers. The Lodge experience combines great fishing, really good food and incredible natural beauty — and we proudly call Isla Parida home. We are owned by our founders, the Jarvis family.
