Plan Your Trip

What to wear

The sun is brutal here. Dress to stay covered and comfortable, and you will fish longer and feel better at the end of the day.

We sit close to the equator, and the sun is the one thing to dress for. We recommend a hat, polarized sunglasses, a long-sleeve shirt, a buff to cover your face and neck, and maybe some long pants. And remember to bring plenty of sunscreen.

You can wear sandals if you like, but we recommend a shoe that covers your toes — both to protect them from the sun and to keep you from stubbing them while you move around the boat.
